The stall is popular as peak hour queue is easily 5 persons or more. The menu is quite short with 5 or so items; not particularly catering to any dietary restrictions or patrons with special needs. Tried the chicken cutlet and luncheon meat and they were delicious. The egg was slightly runny and portion was generous.

Tried the Chicken Cutlet Scrambled Egg Rice was the portion was huge! Ate it for 2 meals. Huge piece of chicken cutlet and just the right amount of scrambled eggs. Only missing some spice. Very simple yet comforting food!

One mouth and I knew this store was going to be one of my favourite. If you love scrambled eggs, this is the best possible place to get lunch or dinner if you're lucky.Awesomely smooth egg, done to perfection. Chicken cutlet scrambled egg rice for $6 is unbeatable for the quality and taste.

I ordered the scrambled eggs rice with fried chicken cutlet which costs $6. The cutlet is huge and 南乳 flavoured. Scrambled eggs are fragrant and the texture is just right. I would come back again for other dishes.

Always keen to try their food. Delighted they have a branch at Maxwell. Their chicken cutlet is very delicious and the egg is cooked till runny. The chill completes the meal. The person ordering has a little attitude. Otherwise, I really like it.

for what u are paying for, it’s super worth it. egg silky smooth w good savoury texture and tasty chicken cutlet is flavourful and very special taste different from typical chicken cutlet. it would be a plus if the stall operators can display a tinge more friendliness and explain clearly how they wan order to be taken and dished out in sequence. ambience wise maxwell hawker is now overly crowded due to mrt station nearby…very very difficult to find seat during lunch hour. place is stuffy and hot.a shame it’s a tourist go to location

Danlao is one of those hawkers that serve up timeless dishes that most would enjoy — soft and glossy scrambled eggs with rice, crispy fried chicken served on top of warm rice drizzled with soy sauce and topped off with chunky luncheon meat. If you’re looking for comforting, safe and good food to fill you up, then this is the spot. I love eggs (which may be a bias review) but I don’t think you can ever go wrong having this for a meal.
