Amazingly affordable and delicious curries can be had here. The curry and roti combo was simply the best. The curry was perfectly spiced with that hit of spice and cream. The roti was flakey and soaked up the curry perfectly. The best little snack and definately worth a visit!

Not even sure if there’s any much portion difference based on the 3 tier pricing strategy, 7,9 or 12 dollars would the portion be any different ? Generally, compared to other stalls, the price point gives you some value cos the neighboring stalls sell about 7.80. For the same price point, you can get so much better at Bugis area. More chicken and less chicken tendons found in the murtabak. Could have cooked jt a little longer but they made it just warm n edible. Skin not crispy enough. One time customer, not eating this again

Discovered this Indian food stall and had mutton biryani. Affordable price and the taste is authentic. Probably one of the most best places near Tanjong Pagar for a biryani. Plating and serving size is more than filling. Balance of spices, slight heat and perfectly cooked rice. Highly recommended.

This is one of our staples for breakfast in Maxwell. We love their original roti with fish head curry but we also occasionally indulge in their chicken murtabak which is hearty is so, so delicious.

My nine-year-old son specifically requested that I leave a five star review for this unassuming little place, on account of how very much he enjoyed the murtabak (S$6) and the roti John (S$5). I can't believe anyone could call it overpriced. It's tasty and filling, and if - like my boy - you don't like spicy stuff just ask for the sauce on the side.
