In my opinion, this is one of the finest surviving handmade Wu Xiang Guan Chang hawker stalls in Singapore. It offers an authentic taste that is not compromised by mass production. The stall takes pride in its homemade chili and sweet sauces, which perfectly complement the dishes. Additionally, the owner of the stall is known for being exceptionally friendly and has even been featured in social media interviews, showcasing his dedication and passion for his craft.

It’s all about the nostalgic feel. If you don’t mind paying a little more for the traditional taste, this is the store to go to. The serving is smaller than other stores too. The beauty is in the old taste that you can’t really find in Singapore anymore and it is not oily. If you grew up eating this old taste, you will love this, if not, this store might not be suitable for you. You might enjoy other stores that serve larger, cheaper and more oily and modern taste wu xiang.
