I tried the KH style steamed sea bass and wow was it good!! The fish was perfectly done, it was so tender and flaky. I love fish and pay a lot of attention to how it’s cooked and whether it’s not overdone, and this one was truly perfect. The sauce was very flavorful but still delicate not to overpower the fish itself. The sauce tasted wonderful with the rice. Will come again for sure!!

Super fresh and awesome value for money. Loved that they took their time to properly steam the fish instead of rushing it. Sour and spicy fish was nicely flavoured but not too hot.

Today (2/Jan/24) special dishes are the garlic fried vegetables $5 and the bbq fish $11. The fish put on a banana leaf, although not stingray but taste fine. The sambal on the top of the fish , the spiciness level just nice. Ordered rice, i think its nice to eat while the rice is hot.

Affordable seafood , highly recommended the Hong Kong style steam fish. I prefer the Bass Fillet stream fish. Store owner are very friendly. Able to speak Hokkien, mandarin and English. If you love steam fish , don’t miss this store.

New favourite steamed fish stall. Got the 2 'must try' dishes - seabass fillet ($8) and thai sauce sotong ($15). Both dishes incredibly fresh and no fishy smell at all. Plus, the squid was very soft unlike most places that serve rubbery squid. I think it's 2 pieces of squid in one serving as well. Very tasty!!

Went on a Sunday early evening. The stall was very busy, no queue though since the owner was very quick and efficient in taking orders. A beeper will be given to you as the fish is freshly steamed.I got the hongkong style grouper, $10. Tasted lovely. Simple and fresh. Love the crunchy spring onions garnish. The sauce was a little too sweet for me since I didn’t eat it with rice.Would probably takeaway next time, it was too warm and noisy to eat at the hawker centre.
