This place is open late! I had laksa at midnight and it was a life saver! It was one of the best I've had. You can pay by card

Can I eat the best Singapore laksa here? I asked myself this question late in the night when I arrived at the Maxwell Food Center. I didn't find the best laksa, but the resulting dish was still creamy, coconut, spicy... It just lacked more toppings. However, the won ton noodles served here are also worth attention, because this dish is complete, contains everything it should and is really very tasty.

Stopped by around 9, was grateful to find something still open, and decided to try the homemade dumpling noodle soup. It was simple, delicious, and well worth the price. With a lemon tea from the neighboring stall, dinner was sorted for $7. Perfect

Renowned for its delectable Singapore Laksa and Charsiu Mee, this hidden gem took my taste buds on an unforgettable culinary journey. From the moment I approached the stall, the enticing aromas wafting through the air drew me in. The stall's vibrant atmosphere and friendly staff created an inviting setting to enjoy a truly authentic Singaporean dining experience.Let's start with the star of the show—the Singapore Laksa. Bursting with rich flavors and fragrant spices, this bowl of goodness had me hooked from the first spoonful. The creamy coconut milk base was perfectly balanced, allowing the spices to shine through without overpowering the dish. The Laksa boasted an array of ingredients, from succulent shrimp to tender chicken and bean sprouts, adding delightful textures and flavors to the already tantalizing broth. The noodles were cooked to perfection, soaking up the flavors of the laksa, making each bite a true delight. No. 1 Maxwell's Laksa is undeniably one of the best I've ever had.Next up is the Charsiu Mee, another standout dish that left me wanting more. The succulent barbecued pork, or charsiew, was melt-in-your-mouth tender, with a perfectly balanced sweet and savory glaze that added an extra layer of depth to the dish. The noodles were cooked to perfection, firm yet springy, and absorbed the essence of the flavorful sauce. Topped with fresh vegetables and accompanied by a fragrant bowl of broth, this dish was a symphony of textures and flavors.
